Rebecca Walker-Jones won The London Songwriter’s Showcase in 1989 and went on to represent England in The Women of the World at Ronnie Scott’s in London. In 1992 she joined the band Life which was managed by Simon Napier-Bell (Wham! Mark Bolan, Asia). After a series of record company showcases that did not materialize into a record deal Rebecca set off to Nashville where she secured a music publishing deal with BMG International. After 5 years in Nashville Rebecca moved to Atlanta where she married and concentrated on having a family. Now that her children are older Rebecca is once again performing and writing. She currently lives in Auburn, AL where she runs a business brokerage firm as well as hosting a monthly songwriter event called Opelika Unplugged.
